BDSwiss is honoured to have been the main sponsor of TELETHON’s most recent concert Autumn Night Melodies, which took place on September 29th, in Skali Aglantzias Amphitheater in Nicosia, Cyprus. The concert was performed by Fotini Dara and the Cyprus Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Andreas Tselikas.

The event was a roaring success, with all proceeds going to TELETHON – an international annual fundraising event that supports the work of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology (CING) in transforming the lives of people affected by muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and related neuromuscular diseases through innovations in science and innovations in care.

The funds raised from this annual event are more critical now than ever and will be directed towards providing much needed treatment and relief to patients, as well as towards research that could make the life of people with neuromuscular, genetic and other diseases easier. This concert concluded with Miss Fotini expressing gratitude and urging everyone to continue supporting acts of generosity.

Being the event’s Title Sponsor has enabled BDSwiss to make a positive contribution to the local community and to support the work of TELETHON by helping fund ongoing research and by raising public awareness of neurological and genetic diseases.

About TELETHON: TELETHON is an annual international charity that started in the USA and quickly expanded to many European countries, including France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and others. It mobilizes the efforts of hundreds of thousands of volunteers and raises awareness of millions of people around the world. The overarching goal is to support patients but also to find through research the appropriate and effective treatment of neuromuscular, genetic, and other diseases. “TELETHON” Cyprus is organized annually by the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and MDA Cyprus.
